Checklists for call for projects and application form
The persons responsible for the program can control the quality of project application by formulating the goals of the program and the requirements of the projects as clearly as possible in the call for projects, by specifying information needed in the application form clearly and by consulting the applicant on demand.
A call for projects should answer the following questions:
- What are the goals of the program? The more specifically these are stated, the lower the danger of receiving irrelevant applications.
- Which projects will be encouraged? Specifications concerning form and content can be requested here.
- Who is eligible to submit a project?
- How do submission procedures work?
- Which deadlines should be met?
- Where do I obtain information (and support, if necessary) on the submission procedure?
Within the funds for financing teaching-related projects at the ETH Zurich (Innovedum), the goals of the program, conditions for promotion and the submission procedure are shown.
An application form can contain the following points:
- Goals of the project
- Measures
- Project organisation and project finances
- Evaluation concept
- Ensuring sustainability
An example of a detailed application form can be found on the Innovedum Homepage
An applicant can be supported in different ways:
- Written information and help on filling out the project application form
- Personal advice for the applicant by program staff in specific issues.
- Pre-proposal workshop: Discussion of project ideas between the applicant and various experts (in more large-scale, innovative projects).
Examples of written guidance can be found can be found on the Innovedum Homepage
